Bus Accident Lawyer Todd Tracy explains in this video how passengers are at risk of being killed or seriously injured in a bus crash, school bus crash, charter bus accident, tour bus accident, or a shuttle bus crash because there are no consistent standards for bus safety.
For example, Todd Tracy’s lawsuit against the Champion Bus Company for the deadly bus accident that killed four college softball players has uncovered a long list of safety defects that everyone who rides a bus or puts their children on a bus should be aware of before they step aboard.

I’m Todd Tracy with the Tracy Law Firm and I want to talk with you today about buses. Everybody thinks that buses by and large are governed by the same sets of standards. Believe it or not, they are not.
There is a different set of rules for motor coaches. There is a different set of rules for school buses. There is a different set of rules for shuttle buses. And there’s a different set of rules for buses that look like school buses, that are used as school buses, but if they aren’t over a certain weight, they aren’t categorized as school buses.
All buses are not created equal, and that that’s a crime actually. It doesn’t matter if you’re a school-age child, if you’re a college student, if you’re an adult riding on a shuttle bus in between the airport and a rental car company, or you’re a senior citizen riding on a motor coach to a casino.
You should be protected equally, and the bus manufacturers should protect every one of their occupants equally. They should all have lap and shoulder belts. They should all be made of corrugated metal that’s rigid and strong. It provides a good safety barrier and most importantly, they should all have lap and shoulder belts inside the vehicle, so that the occupants will be protected not only in frontals, but in sides, and also in rollovers.
If you or a family member is killed in any type of bus accident, it is critical, that you contact a lawyer that knows how to take on the bus industry. And I don’t care if it’s a motor coach, a school bus, or a shuttle bus there are standards that are in play and engineering principles in play.

Most people don’t know that they can sue car manufacturers, bus manufacturers and 18-wheeler truck manufacturers for unsafe vehicles that cause death or serious injuries in car accidents.
Todd Tracy focuses on “Who Caused The Serious Car Accident Injuries or Death” — not who caused the accident. Even if you may be at fault in the cause of the accident such loosing control on an icy or wet surface, you still may have a case if your vehicle’s safety systems failed to protect you. Car companies are required by federal motor vehicle safety standards to make vehicles that will protect the driver and passengers from catastrophic injuries or death.
If you, a family member or a friend have suffered a traumatic car accident injury or they were killed in an auto accident, you need to contact a car accident lawyer with a successful record in court for fighting the world’s biggest car companies.
